At 806 Channing Place NE, Brookland Press is a two-building apartment complex in a former warehouse, that sits just north of Rhode Island Row on the southern edge of the Brookland neighborhood in Washington, DC. Built by Douglas Development, the project includes a modern build-out of an existing industrial building, as well as new construction. One of the two six-story buildings, which Douglas Development christened the Foundry, was originally constructed as a printing factory in the 1920s.
